What we collect
When you use FairInsights we may collect:
- Account data — email address and name if you sign in via Google, Apple, or magic link.
- Search data — origin, destination, and date of searches, stored to power your history and alerts.
- Usage data — pages visited and features used, collected anonymously for product improvement.
- Payment data — if you purchase a deep analysis, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
- To provide fare search results and fairness scores.
- To send fare alerts and reminders you explicitly set up.
- To improve the accuracy of our cost models and AI responses.
- To process payments for paid features.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data retention
Search history is retained for 12 months then automatically deleted. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Anthropic / OpenAI — AI narrative generation. Queries are not stored beyond your session.
- Amadeus / Duffel — live fare data. Your search parameters are sent to these providers to retrieve fares.
